RESET 2026

The Partnership Manifesto

What we believe about missions, partnership, and walking together. This is the ground we stand on — the way we hope to walk with you.

What we believe
01

Missions belong to all of us.

Some are called to go.
Others are called to send.
Both are participating in the same mission.

"How can anyone go unless someone is sent?" — Romans 10:15
Paraphrased for reflection
02

We are not waiting for every detail to be easy.

Our decision to obey did not wait for every question to be answered.
We believe God has called us,
and we are taking the step.

We will trust Him with the provision.
With the timing.
With the open doors.
With the strength.
With the outcome.

03

Missionaries are ambassadors.

A missionary does not represent himself.
He represents the Kingdom of God.
He also represents every person who sent him.
When people send, they become part of the work.

04

Partnership is far greater than financial support.

Prayer.
Encouragement.
Friendship.
Wisdom.
Generosity.

Every act of participation matters.
Money is only one expression of partnership.

05

The greatest gift we can offer our partners is trust.

Trust is earned through honesty.
Through transparency.
Through consistency.

We never want our partners wondering where we are or what God is doing.
We want them to walk the journey with us.

06

We believe generosity deserves transparency.

Every gift entrusted to this mission is sacred.
Not because of its amount,
but because it represents someone's faith, sacrifice, and trust.

For that reason, we choose to live transparently.
Whenever possible, our partners will be able to see how resources are being used, where we are, and what God is doing through their partnership.

Transparency is not about proving ourselves.
It is about honoring the trust that has been placed in us.

07

We believe Partners don't simply want information.

They want connection.
Not just newsletters.
Not just fundraising emails.

They want to feel present.
They want to celebrate victories.
They want to carry burdens.
They want to know their prayers matter.
They want to know their finances matter.

08

Every partner deserves to see the fruit of their sending.

Missions are not measured only by dollars given.
It is measured by lives touched.
Souls saved.
Churches encouraged.
Prayers answered.
Hope restored.

Every partner should be able to see the difference they are helping make.

09

We believe prayer is not preparation for the mission.

Prayer is part of the mission.
Every prayer offered is an act of participation.
Every prayer moves the mission forward.

10

We believe our partners deserve more than occasional updates.

They deserve an honest view of the journey.
Whenever possible, we will openly share our route, ministry, prayer requests, victories, challenges, budgets, and expenses.

Not because anyone demands it —
but because trust grows where there is nothing to hide.

We never want to hide behind polished reports.
We choose honesty over image.
Relationship over presentation.

Transparency is one way we honor every person who walks this journey with us.

11

Technology should never replace relationships.

Technology exists to remove distance.
Not humanity.

If technology makes people feel more connected to one another, it has served its purpose.
If it creates distance, it has failed.

12

Missions should inspire, not manipulate.

Fear should never be used to raise support.
Guilt should never be used to motivate generosity.
Emotion should never replace truth.

People should participate because they believe in what God is doing.

13

We believe missionaries should spend more time in ministry than managing communication.

Missionaries are called to serve people.
Not to spend endless hours building newsletters, managing spreadsheets, and chasing donations.

Technology should free missionaries to focus on their calling.

14

We believe partners don't want to stand on the sidelines.

They want to participate.

To pray.
To celebrate.
To encourage.
To send.
To know that this journey is theirs too.

15

Every journey is better when it is shared.

God rarely sends people alone.

Missions have always been a partnership between those who go and those who send.
Together, we become part of the story God is writing.

16

We measure success differently.

Success is not measured only by funds raised.

It is measured by faithfulness.
By obedience.
By lives changed.
By souls saved.
By relationships strengthened.
By God's faithfulness along the way.

17

RESET is more than a journey.

RESET is an invitation.
An invitation to slow down.
To listen again.
To realign with God's purpose.
To rediscover the joy of walking with Him.

18

MissionCompanion.app exists to strengthen partnership.

It was never created simply to share updates.

It exists to help missionaries and partners walk together in a way that feels personal, honest, and meaningful.

19

We believe every partner should know:

You are not watching from a distance.
You are walking with us.

Your prayers matter.
Your encouragement matters.
Your generosity matters.
Your presence matters.

Because of your partnership, this mission moves forward.

20

We invite you not from need, but as a gift.

We are inviting you not because we cannot go without you.
We are inviting you because we believe God is writing a story that is meant to be shared.

And we want you to feel the reward
of being part of something eternal.

Not distant.
Not forgotten.
Not anonymous.
Part of it.

Our Promise

As we walk this journey

We promise to:

Closing

Some are called to go.

Some are called to send.

Together, we become part of the story God is writing.

— Akop & Svetlana

Most ministries say, "Thank you for your support."

Our language is different.

Thank you for your trust.

Support can be transactional. Trust is relational.
